  • 1/4 3 fresh chilies serrano chili pepper, slit down the side vertically
  • 1/4 tablespoon Garam masala spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek leaves
  • 1/2 Bay leaves
  • 1/2 Medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.19 inch 1 medium sweet potato or yam, diced into cubes, skins ok see notes
  • 1/4 teaspoon Honey or maple syrup
  • As required Handful fresh cilantro leaves or chopped scallions for garnish
  • As required Toasted flaked coconut optional
