STEP 1. take flour and ghee in a bowl and gradually add some warm water to it in order to make a soft dough. Keep this dough aside for 30 minutes.

STEP 1. roll the mathris flat using a rolling pin and poke some holes in it. heat ghee in a pan and fry the mathris well till they turn crisp.

STEP 1. take the mathris out and let them cool for a while. in a pan take sugar and a glass of water.

STEP 1.cook it for 6-7 minutes till the sugar dissolves completely and it comes to a thick syrup like consistency.

STEP 1. dip your mathris in this syrup and let them cool so that the syrup will get crystallised.
