  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar

  • STEP 1.Wash and dry the sweet limes thoroughly.
  • STEP 2.Cut the sweet limes into small pieces and remove the seeds.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, and asafoetida. Fry until the seeds splutter.
  • STEP 4.Add the sweet lime pieces, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add sugar and vinegar to the pan. Stir well and cook until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.
  • STEP 6.Transfer the pickle to a sterilized jar and let it cool completely before sealing.
