Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. Saute for a minute.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown. Then add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped vegetables like carrots, beans, peas, and bell peppers. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add sweet corn kernels, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Add soaked rice, salt, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and cover the pan.
