Ingredients for Suji ke appe Recipe

  • 0.33 cup suji
  • 0.33 cup Curd
  • as required Salt
  • 3.33 pieces 10-12 pieces
  • 0.08 tsp Fruit salt
  • 0.33 tsp Mustard seed
  • 0.33 tbsp Oil

Directions: Suji Ke Appe Recipe

  • STEP 1.✍in a bowl add suji and curd. Mix until well combined. Add salt and let the batter stand for 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 2.✍in a tadka pan heat 1 tsp oil . Add mustard seed . After crackled mustard seeds add curry leaves. Add this tadka in suji batter..
  • STEP 3.✍Heat the appam pan on medium -low heat and add just a drop of oil in each of the moulds. Add fruit salt to the appam batter . Mix well and immediately pour spoonful of batter in each moulds.
  • STEP 4.✍cover and cook for about 5 minutes or till the appams are golden brown from beneath. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 5.✍Remove from pan and serve hot with coconut chutney.
