STEP 1.✍in a bowl add suji and curd. Mix until well combined. Add salt and let the batter stand for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 2.✍in a tadka pan heat 1 tsp oil . Add mustard seed . After crackled mustard seeds add curry leaves. Add this tadka in suji batter..
STEP 3.✍Heat the appam pan on medium -low heat and add just a drop of oil in each of the moulds. Add fruit salt to the appam batter . Mix well and immediately pour spoonful of batter in each moulds.
STEP 4.✍cover and cook for about 5 minutes or till the appams are golden brown from beneath. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
STEP 5.✍Remove from pan and serve hot with coconut chutney.
