  • 0.40 tablespoon Ghee

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak basmati rice in water for 30 minutes and drain.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat ghee and add whole spices. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add ginger-garlic paste, vegetables, and spices. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  • STEP 4.Layer the cooked rice and vegetable mixture in a pot. Seal the pot and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with fried onions and serve hot with raita or salan.
