Utpam is a south Indian dish and i have given a twist to it. I have stuffed potato masala into it made more delicious and healthy for kids.
STEP 1.Step 1. soak rice and dal for 5-6 hrs. And grind little bit coursely. Now mix well and cover for 12 hrs and let it be fermented.
STEP 2.Step 1. Take a kadai or pan on flame add little oil and rai in it. Add chopped or crushed garlic, add upon peanuts. Now add chopped onion cook for few min. Add chopped beans carrot 🥕. Cook for sometimes. Now add upon mashed potatoes a pinch of turmeric n salt as required. Cook for 5-7 mins.
Now stuffing is ready.
STEP 3.Step 3. Take a cooker add water and washed tur dal turmeric, add upon all veggies sambhar masala and tamarind paste and mix very well. Close tge lid and cook for 15 mins. Sambhar is done now. Make a tadka of rai chilly curry leaves and hing and add in sambhar. Sambhar ia ready now.
STEP 4.Step 4. Now take a nonstick tawa. Add salt in batter we made. Now wipe the oil with some onion slices on tawa and pour the batter after few second spread potato filling ww made. Now pour another batch of batter over it so that it cover from all the edges. With the help of butter we will cook from both side. Ince done we will serve hot with sambhar.
