Ingredients for Stuffed Moongdaal chila Recipe

  • 0-0.33 cup split yellow moong dal (soaked for hours)
  • 0.33 cup paneer (crumbled)
  • 0.33 nos onion (finely chopped)
  • 0.33 nos Tomato (finely chopped)
  • 0-0.33 nos green chilies (finely chopped)
  • 0.17 inch Ginger (grated)
  • 0.08 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • As required salt to taste
  • 0.17 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • As required Fresh Coriander leaves (Chopped)
  • As required Ghee or oil for cooking

Directions: Stuffed Moongdaal Chila Recipe

  • STEP 1.Drain the soaked moong dal and blend it into a smooth batter using minimal water. Transfer it to a mixing bowl.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onion, tomato, green chilies, ginger, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, and salt to the moong dal batter. Mix well.
  • STEP 3.Heat a non-stick pan or tawa and grease it lightly with ghee or oil.
  • STEP 4.Pour a ladleful of the moong dal batter onto the hot pan and spread it into a thin circle.
  • STEP 5.Let it cook for a minute on medium heat. Then, spread some crumbled paneer evenly over the chilla.
  • STEP 6.Sprinkle some chopped coriander leaves on top of the paneer.
  • STEP 7.Carefully flip the chilla and cook the other side until golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 8.Once cooked on both sides, remove from the pan and serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
  • STEP 9.Enjoy your delicious paneer-stuffed moong dal chilla!
