Ingredients for Stuffed dahi gujia Recipe

  • 50 gm Urad dhuli daal
  • 12.50 gm Moong dhuli daal
  • 125 gm thick curd
  • 1/4 cup dhania chutney
  • 1/4 cup tamarind saunth
  • As Required Salt
  • As Required Red pepper powder
  • As Required Roasted cumin powder
  • handful Of almonds
  • handful of cashews
  • handful of kishmish
  • handful of chironji
  • 0.13 cup Desicated coconut powder??_5
  • 1/4 litre Oil
  • a pinch of heeng
  • 0.13 cup Pomegranate seeds

Directions: Stuffed Dahi Gujia Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak both the pulses for 3...4 hours then grind with few drops of water
  • STEP 2.Now mix all the chopped dry fruits and take in a bowl and mix with desicated coconut
  • STEP 3.In a big bowl take daal paste ,add heeng dissolved in 1 tsp water in it and whisk well with hands for almost 10 minutes
  • STEP 4.Now wet a cotton cloth and take a small portion of daal paste and spread with hands like a small chapati
  • STEP 5.Fill in it a small spoon of dry fruits mix Close it to give a shape of gujiya Make all the same way Deep fry in oil till turn golden Soak in water for an hour Then squeeze and add curd , chutney and tamarind saunth Sprinkle salt ,red pepper powder and roasted cumin powder Garnish with pomegranate seeds Serve chilled
