Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and slit the green chillies lengthwise, removing the seeds and veins.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt.
  • STEP 3.Stuff the potato mixture into the green chillies and press gently to seal.
  • STEP 4.In a separate bowl, mix chickpea flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, and water to make a smooth batter.
  • STEP 5.Dip the stuffed chillies into the batter, ensuring they are well coated.
  • STEP 6.Heat oil in a deep pan and deep-fry the stuffed chillies until golden and crispy.
  • STEP 7.Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  • STEP 8.Serve the stuffed chillies hot with mint chutney, tamarind chutney, chopped onions, tomatoes, and coriander leaves.
