Ingredients for Street Style Tawa Paneer Frankie - Regional Street Food Recipe

  • 66.67 gms Paneer
  • 0.17 cup Onion paste
  • 0.17 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 0.08 cup Chopped coriander
  • 0.17 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 0.33 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 0.17 teaspoon Amchur/dry mango powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon anardana/pomegranate powder. garam masala powder
  • 0.08 teaspoon black salt
  • 0.11 cup tomato sauce
  • 0.33 tablespoon Cashew paste
  • 0.33 tablespoon Curd
  • 0.33 tablespoon white oil
  • 0.33 teaspoon white vinegar
  • As required salt to taste
  • 0.33 cup maida/refined wheat flour
  • As required Hot water
  • 0.67 tablespoon Butter
  • 0.08 cup chopped onion
  • 0.33 tablespoon chopped Green Chilli

Directions: Street Style Tawa Paneer Frankie - Regional Street Food Recipe

  • STEP 1.First add oil in a pan on medium heat.
  • STEP 2.Add onion paste and cook for 1 minute.
  • STEP 3.Add ginger-garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes off.
  • STEP 4.Now add all powder spices and cook for 1 minute.
  • STEP 5.Now add vinegar, tomato sauce, cashew paste, curd, paneer and salt and then cook. Once cooked, add chopped coriander.
  • STEP 6.In a separate pan add refined wheat flour, oil and water to make a dough and keep aside for half an hour. Add water in portions as you go on mixing and kneading the dough. Keep in mind not to add all of the water at once.
  • STEP 7.Use a rolling pin make a circle and then heat a tawa on a high flame. When it is hot enough, transfer the paratha to the pan. Very soon bubbles begin to show up. Flip it and do the same for the other side. Prepare all the Frankie Parathas like this.
  • STEP 8.Now put thiese on a flat plate, sprinkle chopped onion amd chilli on it. Add tawa paneer, roll it and serve hot.
