Tarts- an exotic dessert, topped with different fillings are always mouthwatering & lip smacking. When strawberries are in season,I combined it with cheese & made this luscious filling for tarts. These are best for any parties. It can be served as a dessert or as snack too.

Ingredients for Strawberry Cheese Tarts Recipe

  • 1 Pieces Tarts
  • As Required For strawberry sauce
  • 0.06 cup mashed or chopped strawberries
  • 0.13 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Cornflour
  • 0.06 tsp Lemon juice
  • 0.13 drop A drop of red food colour
  • As Required For cheese filling
  • 0.03 cup hung curd
  • 0.03 cup Grated cheese
  • 0.38 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 0.03 tsp vanilla essence (optional)
  • As Required For garnish
  • As Required Few strawberry slices

Directions: Strawberry Cheese Tarts Recipe

  • STEP 1.For strawberry sauce:
  • STEP 2.1. Mix all ingredients of sauce in non stick pan, along with 4-5 tbsp water.
  • STEP 3.2. Combine everything well & cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes, while stirring continuously. Keep aside & let it cool completely.
  • STEP 4.For filling:
  • STEP 5.1. Combine hung curd, powdered sugar,cheese & mix properly.
  • STEP 6.2. Now add 2 tbsp cooled strawberry sauce in it & mix well.
  • STEP 7.3. Now again add rest of sauce & do not mix , just gave light swirl to it. Chill the prepared filling.
  • STEP 8.How to serve:
  • STEP 9.1. Fill the chilled filling in individual tarts, garnish with strawberry slice & serve.
  • STEP 10.Note:
  • STEP 11.1. Instead of strawberry sauce, can use strawberry crush.
  • STEP 12.2. Can use cream cheese or cheese spread.
