Basundi is a sweet thickened full fat milk flavoured with cardamom powder, saffron & with addition of dry nuts. U can serve it warm as well as chilled. Here is basundi with flavour of strawberry.
STEP 1.Take milk in a heavy bottom deep pan and bring it to boil.
STEP 2.As it starts boiling, reduse the heat to medium- low.
STEP 3.Keep stirring & cook the milk till it gets its half quantity.
STEP 4.Add sugar, almonds & cardamom powder in it. Keep stirring.
STEP 5.Take strawberry in a grinder and make a smooth paste.
STEP 6.Let the milk cool down on room temperature.
STEP 7.Add strawberry puree in it and mix them properly.
STEP 8.Keep it in refrigerator and serve chilled.
