Directions: Stove Top Spinach Balls Recipe

Cooking Direction

  • Heat oven to 400ºF. Mix stuffing mix, hot water and butter in large bowl until blended.
  • Add remaining ingredients; mix lightly. Shape into 60 (1-inch) balls. Place in single layer on 2 rimmed baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 min. or until heated through and lightly browned.

Cooking Tips

  • The consistency of the mixture depends entirely on how moist the spinach is. If you find your mixture is too dry to roll into balls, add one beaten egg or two egg whites. If it is too wet, add parmesan cheese.

Serving and Storage

  • Place the prepared balls in freezer-weight resealable plastic bags; freeze for up to 3 months.
  • When ready to serve, thaw in the refrigerator. Place on baking sheets and bake in a 400°F oven 10 to 15 min. or until heated through.
