Ingredients for Steamed Chinese Buns Recipe

  • 3.50 gram active dry yeast
  • 80 milliliter Water
  • 2 tablespoon wheat flour
  • 1.50 tablespoon Sugar
  • 100 gram wheat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 gram baking powder

step 1

  • STEP 1.Take a bowl and mix yeast, water,wheat flour and sugar thoroughly.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Now keep the mixture in warm area for 30 mins

step 3

  • STEP 1.Add wheat flour, water, sugar, salt and oil in to the yeast mixture.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Take a big bowl and apply some oil in the bottom, put the dough in it and keep it covered for 1 ½ hours.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Now flatten the dough with some baking powder sprinkled on it , knead the baking powder in the dough at least for 5 mins.

step 6

  • STEP 1.Shape the dough into logs and cut it into 12 equal pieces, place it on baking paper and keep it for 10 mins.
