240 gram Jaggery
1 cup coconut milk
5 No.s Egg
0.33 cup Water
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
0.33 cup cashew nuts

STEP 1.1 take the eggs in a bowl and beat them using a whisk.

STEP 2.2 to this add coconut milk and beat again.
step 3
STEP 3.3 cut the jaggery into small pieces and melt it using a non-stick pan with a little water.
step 4
STEP 4.4 add the melted jaggery into the egg mix and beat it again.
step 5
STEP 5.5 to this add vanilla extract, cardamom powder and mix it.
step 6
STEP 6.6 strain the mixture using a strainer and place it in a steamer filled with water.
step 7
STEP 7.7 cover and cook for 45-50 minutes.
step 8
STEP 8.8 take it out and garnish with some cashews and your steamed sri lankan custard is ready to be served.
