Ingredients for Sri Lankan Custured Pudding Recipe

  • 240 gram Jaggery
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 5 No.s Egg
  • 0.33 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 0.33 cup cashew nuts

Directions: Sri Lankan Custured Pudding Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 take the eggs in a bowl and beat them using a whisk.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 to this add coconut milk and beat again.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3 cut the jaggery into small pieces and melt it using a non-stick pan with a little water.

step 4

  • STEP 4.4 add the melted jaggery into the egg mix and beat it again.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 to this add vanilla extract, cardamom powder and mix it.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 strain the mixture using a strainer and place it in a steamer filled with water.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7 cover and cook for 45-50 minutes.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8 take it out and garnish with some cashews and your steamed sri lankan custard is ready to be served.
