  • 400 gram Tofu
  • 150 gram Minced pork
  • 3 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 15 gram Ginger
  • 1 No.s Spring onions
  • 1 bunch Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Sichuan red peppercorns
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sichuan ground red peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoon Sichuan spicy bean sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Corn flour
  • 3 tablespoon Warm water
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • As required Salt

Directions: Spicy Sichuan Pork And Tofu Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.in a saucepan bring 1 litre water to a boil.

step 2

  • STEP 1. add 400 gm tofu cut into 1 cm cubes to the boiling water, and boil for 2 minutes. Then remove and drain. Keep aside.

step 3

  • STEP 1. in a wok heat 1 tsp oil, add 15 gm ginger cut into thin threads, 3 finely chopped cloves garlic, 1 tsp sichuan red peppercorns and fry for 10 seconds .

  • STEP 1. add 2 tsp spicy bean sauce and stir fry for 15 seconds.

step 5

  • STEP 1. to this add 150 gm minced pork and fry for 5 minutes.

step 6

  • STEP 1. then add 150 ml boiling water and stir.

step 7

  • STEP 1. add tofu gently to the wok and bring to a boil.

step 8

  • STEP 1. when boiling add 1 tsp light soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar, stir and simmer for1 minute.

step 9

  • STEP 1. in a small bowl combine 1 tsp corn flour and 30 ml water to make a smooth paste.

step 10

  • STEP 1.add this corn flour mixture to the wok and stir.

step 12

  • STEP 1.once the sauce thickens turn off the heat. Transfer to a serving dish.
