A tasty and spicy fried rice tossed with vegetables and scrambled eggs and flavoured with schezwan sauce. a popular and spicy fried rice version made with a generous amount of schezwan chutney or sauce. it is basically prepared very similar to the fried rice with the same set of vegetables and long grain rice but mixed with a spicy sauce for the extra heat and flavour. it is a perfect lunch box meal or to finish off some leftover rice and serve it with choice of manchurian or any dal recipe.

Ingredients for Spicy Schezwan Fried Rice Recipe

  • 1 cup Basmati rice cooked
  • 2 Garlic finely chopped cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger grated
  • 2 No.s Eggs At Room Temperature
  • 6 No.s Green beans finely chopped
  • 1 No.s Carrot finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Spring onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon White Vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • As required Salt

step 1

  • STEP 1.Into the preheated pan add 1 tsp sesame oil, 2 grated garlic cloves, 1 inch ginger grated, ¼ cup chopped spring onions bulbs and greens, 1 carrot finely chopped, 6 green beans finely chopped, salt to taste. Saute on medium to high heat for 3 to 4 minutes till vegetables are well roasted yet have a crunch.

  • STEP 1.Next break 2 eggs into the pan and scramble together with the vegetables on high heat. Add ½ tsp white vinegar, ½ tsp soy sauce, 2 to 3 tbsp Schezwan sauce. Mix all the ingredients well.

  • STEP 1.3 add ½ tsp white vinegar, ½ tsp soy sauce, 2 to 3 tbsp schezwan sauce. Mix all the ingredients well.

  • STEP 1.Then add 1 cup pre cooked basmati or any long grained rice. Drizzle a little more sesame oil over the rice. Toss well with the rest of the ingredient. Stir fry for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn off the heat. Transfer in a serving bowl with chopped spring onions.
