Homemade spicy carrot hummus is one of my new favorite ways to spice up this classic chickpea spread. Smear it onto a toasted seeded multigrain bun and add all of your favorite crispy vegetables for an awesome take on a vegetarian sandwich.
Ingredients for Spicy Carrot Hummus Vegetarian Sandwich Recipe
1 pound Carrots
3 Garlic Cloves
4 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
1.50 cup Cooked chickpeas
1/4 cup Tahini
2 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup Water
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cumin
1/2 teaspoon Ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 tablespoon Sriracha
1 Multgrain bun
2 tablespoon Spicy carrot hummus
As required A few slices of fresh cucumber
As required A few slices of fresh tomato
2 tablespoon Fresh sprouts
1 tablespoon Quick pickled red onions
