STEP 1. brush your pan with olive oil and coat it with 1/2 cup of cornmeal

STEP 1. heat some oil in a pan and saute chopped onions in it until they turn translucent.

STEP 1. once done stet this aside .

STEP 1. in a bowl mix egg, milk, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and cooked onions.

STEP 1. spread the remaining cornmeal over the pan, make a layer of cheese on top and drizzle the milk-onion mixture o it.

STEP 1. repeat this in order to create layers.

STEP 1. bake this in the oven for an hour and you are done.
