The beef sopa criolla is a Peruvian table favorite. It's so quick to make that it can be served in about half an hour. It's usually made with finely chopped meat cut in milk and stock.Sopa Criolla (“Creolle soup“) is one of those. In Peru we love to have it for lunch, but it is especially good and comforting for dinner, as it is fulfilling and flavorful, but light at the same time. What gives so much flavor to the broth is the kind of chili used (aji panca).

Ingredients for Sopa Criolla Recipe

  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 No.s chopped onion
  • 2 No.s chopped garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoon Tomato Puree
  • 2 No.s chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon panca chilli paste
  • 250 gram minced meat
  • As required Pepper
  • As required Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 liter beef stock
  • 120 gram spaghetti
  • 2 No.s beaten eggs
  • 70 milliliter Milk

Directions: Sopa Criolla Recipe

  • STEP 1.Saute onions , and garlic for five minutes. add tomato, tomato puree, chili paste, meat, pepper, salt, cumin and oregano.
  • STEP 2.Cook the meat thoroughly . Add beef stock , spaghetti and cook for 8 minutes.
  • STEP 3.Pour beaten eggs and milk into the pot and mix well.
