An easy,quick and crispy snack,suits well with tea time.Snake Gourd Fritters Recipe is a very easy dish you can prepare within half an hour. With Snake gourd vegetable you can make so many dishes like curry, fry and etc. Here in the recipe, I used Gram flour, cornflour to make these fritters. The fritters are crispy from outside and soft from inside. You can have this has an evening snack along with a cup of tea/coffee or you can have along with curd rice and dal.

Ingredients for Snake Gourd Pakoda Recipe

  • 200 gram Snake gourd
  • 2 tablespoon Rice flour
  • 2 tablespoon Corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tablespoon Fennel powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 3/4 tablespoon Salt
  • As required Lemon juice
  • As required Sprinkle few water
  • 1/2 liter Oil
  • As required Curry leaves

step 1

  • STEP 1.Peel off the snake gourd.

step 2

  • STEP 2.Cut and remove the inner layer of the snake gourd and wash it.

step 3

  • STEP 3.Slice the snake gourd.

step 4

  • STEP 4.Add rice flour,corn flour to the sliced snake gourd.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Then add masala-red chilli powder, kashmiri red chilli powder,garam masala,fennel powder, turmeric powder and salt.

  • STEP 6.Mix well.

  • STEP 7.Add lemon juice

  • STEP 8.Now sprinkle some water and mix well.

  • STEP 9.1.add oil and heat it.

step 11

  • STEP 10.2.now fry the snake gourd for five minutes at medium flame.

step 12

  • STEP 11.3.using the same oil,add curry leaves and fry for a minute.

step 13

  • STEP 12.4.now top the curry leaves onto the fried snake gourd.
