  • 0.33 nos Thinly sliced Snake gourd bowl
  • 1 nos Coriander seeds table spoons
  • 0.33 nos Urad dal table spoon
  • 0.67 nos Xhana dal table spoons
  • 1.33 nos Red Chillies
  • 0.17 teaspoon Pepper corns
  • 0.17 teaspoons Cumin
  • As required Curry leaves few
  • As required salt to taste
  • 1 nos Oil table spoons
  • 0.17 teaspoon mustard seeds

Directions: Snake Gourd/padwal Fry With Fresh Spices Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat a pan with three teaspoon of oil. Fry the coriander seeds, dals, red chillies, pepper and cumin till they become aromatic and light brown. Transfer to a jar and powder coarsely. Keep it aside. Heat the pan with remaining oil Do the seasoning with mustard and curry leaves. Add the snake gourd pieces and salt. Sprinkle handful of water. Close it with a lid. Cook in medium flame for five to seven minutes. Then remove the lid and cook till the stuff is cooked and dry. Add the spice powder and cook in low flame for five minutes and switch off.
