STEP 1.In a large bowl place 1 kg smoked pork and let it soak in hot water for half an hour.

STEP 1.Drain the pork and cut it into bite size pieces as desired.

STEP 1.Add the pork pieces to a pressure cooker and add hot water till the level of the pork. Add 2 inches grated ginger, 2 tbsp mustard oil, salt to taste. Cover and let it come to a boil.

STEP 1.Then add 2 chopped tomatoes and 12 to 15 large cloves garlic crushed. Cover and cook for another 5 minutes.

STEP 1.Add the whole dried red chillies.

STEP 1.Put the pressure cooker lid on and pressure cook for 5 whistles. Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally.

STEP 1.When the cooker is opened there will still be water. Add 1 large radish sliced.

STEP 1.Cover lightly and continue to cook to allow the water to dry up. After a few minutes open and gently stir to mix the radish slices with the pork and spices.

STEP 1.Cover and continue to cook till most of the gravy has dried up and the radish is cooked but still firm.

STEP 1.Smoked pork with radish is ready. Serve hot with rice.
