Ingredients for Spicy Chicken Curry Recipe

  • 1/4 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 Large onion peeled and chopped
  • 3/4 Chicken breasts boneless and skinless diced
  • 3/4 Cloves garlic peeled and minced
  • 1/4 piece Large ginger about the size of your thumb, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.13 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon Hot chilli powder use less or mild chilli if you dont like your curry too hot
  • 1/4 tablespoon Ground coriander
  • 0.13 tablespoon Cumin
  • 1/4 tablespoon Curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 60 milliliter Chicken stock
  • 100 gram Tinned chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 tablespoon Tomato puree/paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar this is to counteract the acidity in the tomatoes
  • 100 milliliter Can full fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cornflour mixed with 5 tbsp cold water to make a slurry optional
  • As required Boiled rice
  • As required Chopped coriander and finely chopped chillies
