  • STEP 1.In a large bowl, mix together 1 cup of rice flour, 1/2 cup of semolina, 1/4 cup of yogurt, and enough water to make a smooth batter.
  • STEP 2.Cover the bowl with a lid and let the batter ferment for 4-5 hours or overnight.
  • STEP 3.Heat a non-stick griddle or tawa over medium heat and grease it lightly with oil.
  • STEP 4.Pour a ladleful of the dosa batter onto the center of the griddle and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.
  • STEP 5.Drizzle a little oil around the edges of the dosa and cook until the bottom turns golden brown.
  • STEP 6.Flip the dosa and cook the other side until it becomes crispy and golden brown.
  • STEP 7.Remove the dosa from the griddle and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
  • STEP 8.Repeat the process with the remaining batter to make more dosas.
