  • 0.13 teaspoon Sugar
  • 0.13 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 0.13 teaspoon Dried Oregano

  • 0.03 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.13 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 0.06 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • STEP 2.Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • STEP 3.In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onions, and sauté until fragrant and translucent.
  • STEP 4.Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  • STEP 5.Simmer the sauce for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • STEP 6.In a separate bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and half of the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Mix well.
  • STEP 7.Pour half of the tomato sauce into the greased baking dish. Top with the macaroni and cheese mixture.
  • STEP 8.Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the macaroni and sprinkle the remaining shredded cheeses on top.
  • STEP 9.Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • STEP 10.Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
