Ingredients for Sichuan Spicy Chicken Stir Fry Recipe

  • 300 gram Chicken breastcut into two thin layers lengthwise and then thinly sliced along the breath
  • 3-6 Dried chilli roughly chopped Nos
  • 4 gram Sichuan peppercorns
  • 20 gram Roasted peanuts roughly ground
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds
  • 3 Garlic finely chopped cloves
  • 30 gram Coriander roughly chopped
  • 2 Spring onions finely chopped Nos
  • 1 teaspoon Chicken powder
  • 1 teaspoon Light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli oil
  • 1 tablespoon Corn flour
  • 2.30 tablespoon Oil
  • As required Salt

Directions: Sichuan Spicy Chicken Stir Fry Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 place a hot plate on the heat to get hot.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2 place 300 gm chicken breast cut into two thin layers lengthwise and then thinly sliced along the breath, in a mixing bowl. Add ¼ tsp salt, ½ tsp chicken powder, 1 tbsp cornflour and 1 tsp oil.

  • STEP 3.3 mix well together to ensure that the chicken is well coated. Leave to marinate for 5 minutes.

  • STEP 4.4 heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok, add 3 cloves of finely chopped garlic, 3 to 6 roughly chopped dried chillies, 4 gm sichuan peppercorns and stir fry till aromatic.

  • STEP 5.5 then add the marinated chicken pieces and stir fry for 3 minutes till the chicken loses its raw colour and turns pale.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6 add ½ tsp chicken powder, 1 tsp light soy sauce, 1 tp chilli oil and stir fry for 1 minute.

  • STEP 7.7 then add salt to taste , 1 tsp sesame seeds and 20 gm roughly ground roasted peanuts and stir fry for 30 seconds.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8 add 2 finely chopped spring onions and 3o gm finely chopped coriander and stir together.

step 9

  • STEP 9.9 transfer the chicken preparation to the heated hot plate and serve.
