  • 125 gram Chicken, Cut Into Pieces
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 tablespoon Mustard Seeds
  • 0.63 En Chilies
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sugar
  • as needed Fresh Coriander Leaves, For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the chicken pieces with turmeric powder, salt, and lemon juice for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.In a blender, grind mustard seeds, green chilies, and a little water to make a smooth paste.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated chicken pieces. Cook until they are browned on all sides.
  • STEP 4.Add the mustard paste to the pan and cook for a few minutes until the raw smell of mustard disappears.
  • STEP 5.Add water, salt, and sugar to the pan and simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
