STEP 3.In a bowl add ¼ tsp turmeric powder and 1 cup water.
STEP 4.Slice the plantains in semi-circles into the turmeric water.
STEP 5.Drain the water from sliced plantain and soak dry.
Cooking Directions
STEP 1.In a saucepan, melt 250gm jaggery with ½ cup water and keep it aside.
STEP 2.Into another pan, heat cooking oil.
STEP 3.Stir fry the plantains on a medium heat in the pan.
STEP 4.Set up a vessel on the stove. Sieve the jaggery syrup into it.
STEP 5.When the jaggery becomes of thick consistency, add 1 tsp ghee and the fried plantains.Stir well for a minute.
STEP 6.Season the mixture with 2 tsp ginger powder, 1 tsp cumin powder and ½ tsp cardamom powder.
STEP 7.Finally add 2 tsp of sugar.
STEP 8.Turn off the flame and allow the dish to cool down.
STEP 9.Transfer the dishing to a serving plate once cool.
