Ingredients for Shapla chingri Recipe

  • 6 Pieces Water Lilly Steam ( cut into medium pieces )
  • 2.50 Pieces green chilli
  • 1 Tbsp mustard oil
  • 125 g Prawns
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Nigella Seeds (Kalonji)
  • 1/2 Tsp Sugar

Directions: Shapla Chingri Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat a kadai with oil. Add nigella seeds and green chilli. 1 min later add prawns. Fry it for 3 mins. Then add water lily steam. Fry it for 4 mins in low flame. Then add salt and turmeric powder. Fry another 5 mins. Then add sugar. Few seconds later turn off the gas. Serve it with rice.
