Shahi paneer is marinated with almonds, fennel seeds and cardamom which makes paneer very flavorful. It is grilled till it is crispy. Walnut chutney has lip smacking taste. It goes well with shahi paneer.. very less oil...so healthy too

Ingredients for Shahi paneer with walnut chutney Recipe

  • As required For Walnut chutney
  • As required Broken walnuts ¼ cup
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green chilli paste (use as per your taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 nos Onion chopped
  • As required salt to taste
  • As required Coriander leaves chopped ½ cup
  • As required For Shahi Paneer
  • 3 nos almonds
  • 2 nos Cardamom cloves peeled
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • As required Turmeric powder ¼ teaspoon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder (use as per taste)
  • As required Garam masala ½ teaspoon (use as per taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Freshly crushed black pepper (coarsely grinded)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon hung curd
  • 100 grams paneer Big Cubes
  • As required salt to taste
  • As required Oil For Grilling
  • As required For garnishing
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander leaves chopped

Directions: Shahi Paneer With Walnut Chutney Recipe

  • STEP 1.For walnut chutney
  • STEP 2.add all the ingredients to a mixer jar and grind it. Walnut cutney is done.
  • STEP 3.For shahi Paneer
  • STEP 4.Add almonds, cardamom, poppy seeds and fennel seeds to grinder jar and grind it to powder.
  • STEP 5.In a mixing jar add hung curd and all the ingredients for shahi paneer except paneer. Add the grinded almond mixture too. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Add paneer cubes. Mix well so that all the paneer pieces are coated with marination.
  • STEP 7.Keep it in fridge for 2 hours
  • STEP 8.Brush oil on the griller. Grill paneer pieces from all sides, till you get golden marks on paneer.
  • STEP 9.Garnish shahi paneer with marination and coriander leaves.
  • STEP 10.Serve shahi paneer and walnut chutney with phudina naan and Chunda pickle.
