  • 1/5 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  • 1/5 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/10 teaspoon Fenugreek Seeds
  • 0.40 Onions, Finely Chopped
  • 0.40 tablespoon Kasundi Sauce
  • 1/5 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/5 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • as required Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated chicken. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  • STEP 3.In a separate pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and fenugreek seeds. Cook until the seeds start to splutter.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped onions and cook until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add kasundi sauce, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.Add the cooked chicken to the kasundi sauce and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan bread.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
  • You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less red chili powder.
  • If you don't have kasundi sauce, you can substitute it with Dijon mustard mixed with a little bit of honey.
