  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 0.06 teaspoon Asafoetida

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and asafoetida.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 3.Add water and let the curry simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 4.Garnish with sev and coriander leaves before serving.
  • STEP 5.Serve hot with roti or puri.

Cooking Tips

  • You can adjust the spice level according to your taste by adding more or less red chili powder.
  • Make sure to cook the tomatoes until they are soft and mushy for a smooth curry.
