  • 1 teaspoon - oil
  • As required - salt to taste

  • 1 nos - onion
  • As required finely chopped
  • 1 nos - green chili
  • As required finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon - Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon - cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon - Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon - garam mashala
  • 1 tablespoon - soya sauce/tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon - oil
  • As required - salt to taste
  • As required - Fresh coriander leaves
  • As required chopped (optional)

Directions: Semolina Soya Dumplings Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Prepare the Dough:
  • STEP 2.- Bring water, salt, and oil to a boil.
  • STEP 3.- Gradually add semolina, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  • STEP 4.- Cook until it forms a dough-like consistency, then let it cool and knead until smooth.
  • STEP 5.2.Prepare the Soya Stuffing:
  • STEP 6.- Soak soya granules in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain.
  • STEP 7.- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter.
  • STEP 8.- Add chopped onions and green chili, sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 9.- Add ginger-garlic paste, then the soya granules, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
  • STEP 10.- Let the mixture cool.
  • STEP 11.3.Assemble the Dumplings:
  • STEP 12.- Divide the dough into small balls, flatten into discs, and place a spoonful of soya stuffing in the center.
  • STEP 13.- Seal the edges to form dumplings.
  • STEP 14.4.Cook the Dumplings:
  • STEP 15.- Steam for 10-15 minutes or boil for 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
