  • 0.40 cup Chickpea Flour
  • 1/20 cup Semolina
  • 0.40 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/10 teaspoon Green Cardamom Powder
  • As required Oil

Directions: Seerni/tangdi/gur Ke Pare Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1. in a bowl add chickpea flour, semolina and clarified butter. mix everything well and make a dough by gradually adding water to it.

step 2

  • STEP 1. keep the dough aside for 10 minutes. fill the prepared dough in the sev maker.

step 3

  • STEP 1. heat ghee in a pan and deep fry the seerni by dropping it into hot oil with the help of sev maker.

step 4

  • STEP 1. fry the seerni from both the sides till it turns golden brown. in a pan add sugar and half cup of water and cardamom powder.

step 5

  • STEP 1. cook it while stirring continuously till sugar dissolves completely and it turns into a thick syrup.

step 6

  • STEP 1. break the seerni and dip them into the sugar syrup and make sure that they are coated evenly.
