Ingredients for Sandesh Recipe

  • 1 Full fat milk lit
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • As required Pistachio for garnishing

Directions: Sandesh Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Boil 1 litre full cream milk in a thick bottomed pan, stir occasionally.

  • STEP 2.Turn off the stove and add 3 tbsp of lemon juice.

step 3

  • STEP 3.Mix well till the milk curdles like while preparing paneer. Add more lemon juice if required.

step 4

  • STEP 4.Drain off the curdled milk using cloth.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Rinse with cold water, making sure the paneer remains soft and removes lemon flavour,squeeze and drain off the water.

  • STEP 6.Now hang the cloth along with curdled milk for 30 minutes. Do not hang for more time, as they lose moisture completely.

  • STEP 7.After 30 minutes, mash well for 10 minutes.

  • STEP 8.Mash till the curdled milk turns smooth and soft. Else it will be difficult to prepare balls.

  • STEP 9.Add powdered sugar

  • STEP 10.Add in cardamom powder and mix well.

  • STEP 11.Further, prepare a small flat round .

step 12

  • STEP 12.Finally garnish sandesh with pistachios and serve.
