Ingredients for Sambal Belacan Recipe

  • 3/4 inch cube belacan
  • 6 Nos red chillies
  • As required A Few bird
  • As required s eye chillies
  • 2-3 tablespoon lime juice or 2 3 limau kasturi

Directions: Sambal Belacan Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Remove seeds from chillies and cut into small pieces
  • STEP 2.Toast belacan in a pan for about 3-5 mins. let it cool down.
  • STEP 3.Transfer chilies and toasted belacan to a good processor and grind finely. Squeeze in the lime juice to the ground mixture and mix it well.
  • STEP 4.If not consumed right away then transfer into a container and store in a refrigerator. Squeeze some lime juice before serving and consumed within 2-3 days.
