  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Urad Dal

  • 1/4 inch Ginger, Grated
  • 0.13 cup Chopped Vegetables
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 0.06 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • as needed Chopped Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves. Saute until the mustard seeds crackle.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions, green chilies, and ginger. Saute until the onions turn translucent.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped vegetables like carrots, peas, and beans. Cook for a few minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  • STEP 4.Add samba rava (broken wheat) and roast for a couple of minutes until it turns aromatic.
  • STEP 5.Add water, salt, and turmeric powder. Mix well and cover the pan. Cook on low heat until the samba rava is cooked and the water is absorbed.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
