  • 1/4 inch Ginger
  • 1.25 En Chilies
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1.25 Led Potatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • pinch A Pinch Of Asafoetida
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak samak rice in water for 4-5 hours.
  • STEP 2.Grind the soaked rice along with ginger, green chilies, and salt to make a smooth batter.
  • STEP 3.Heat a tawa or griddle and pour a ladleful of batter. Spread it in a circular motion to make a thin dosa.
  • STEP 4.Add a spoonful of the potato masala filling on one side of the dosa and fold it.
  • STEP 5.Cook until the dosa turns golden brown and crispy. Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to spread the dosa batter thinly to get a crispy texture.
  • You can add chopped onions, coriander leaves, or grated carrots to the potato masala filling for extra flavor.
