  • 6 tablespoon Salted butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea salt

  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 150 milliliter Milk chilled
  • 1.50 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 400 milliliter Full fat cream chilled

  • STEP 1.Freeze the ice cream bowl for 2 days

    • STEP 2.1for salted caramel sauce, into a saucepan and 6 tbsp room temperature salted butter and 1 cup white granulated sugar.

    • STEP 3.2melt the butter and the sugar and allow it to get a dark golden colour.

    • STEP 4.3once it turns deep golden brown and starts to bubble and smoke, turn off the heat.

    step 6

    • STEP 5.4stir in 1 cup of heavy cream. Keep stirring until a smooth caramel consistency is reached. Add ½ tsp sea salt and 1 tsp vanilla extract and stir well.

    • STEP 6.5;for the ice cream, in a blender jar add ½ cup sugar, 150 ml chilled milk, 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract, 400 ml chilled full fat cream. Blend well and refrigerate for 2 hours.

    • STEP 7.6;place the frozen ice cream bowl into the kitchenif ice cream maker and attach the paddle. Set the timer for 30 minutes. Start the machine and pour in the ice cream mixture. Shut the lid and allow the ice cream to thicken. Once done.

    • STEP 8.7scoop a first layer of ice cream into a wide and deep dish. Spoon salted caramel sauce over the icecream and swirl the sauce and ice cream.

    • STEP 9.8sprinkle chopped roasted salted almonds.

    • STEP 10.9;scoop another layer of ice cream over the nuts and spread it out.

    step 12

    • STEP 11.10follow this with salted caramel as before. Using a skewer create swirls.

    • STEP 1.top with more chopped roasted salted almonds.
