As sago, used for fasting, we offenly eat with limited ingredients. But today, i used, ingredients other than, used in fasting. This turns very healthy and tasty. And colourful.. So take a look...
STEP 1.Soak sago for 2 hours. Chop onion, chillies, potato,tomato, carrot.
STEP 2.Put a pan on gas and pour oil .
STEP 3.When oil is hot, add, mustard seeds, cumin, green chilli, curry leaves, . Also add potato, carrot, and green peas to it. Saut well.
STEP 4.Cover for two minutes. Then add green onion and tomato. Mix well. Dont over cook this.
STEP 5.Then add turmeric and chilli powder.
STEP 6.Soaked sago and mix well.
STEP 7.Cover it for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 8.Then add crushed peanut, salt, and sugar. Mix well,
STEP 9.Turn off heat, add lemon juice and coriander as required. Mix well.
STEP 10.Now sago upma is ready to eat without fasting.
STEP 11.Now serve hot,in serving bowls, garnish with pomegranate seeds and corriender.
STEP 12.Healthy, tasty and colourful.
