#mom Sabudana Khichdi is basically a fasting recipe but me & my mom likes this dish anytime. Certainly its my mom's all time favourite dish. This mother's Day I want to dedicate this recipe to my mom. Happy Mother's Day Mummy👩‍👧

Ingredients for Sabudana Khichdi Recipe

  • 0.67 cup sabudana / sago
  • 0.33 Pieces Boiled Potatoes
  • 0.67 tsp roasted groundnut powder
  • 0.33 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 0.33 tsp Sugar
  • 1.33 Pieces green chilli
  • 0.17 tsp Cumin seeds
  • A Few Few curry leaves
  • 0.67 tbsp Oil
  • As Required For Ganishing Coriander leaves
  • A Handful Pomegranate seeds
  • As Required Farali chivda
  • to taste Salt

Directions: Sabudana Khichdi Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak sabudana for at least 5 to 6 hrs. Add water to the level of sabudana so that khichdi cannot become sticky.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil add cumin seeds. Then add slit green chillies,curry leaves & saute it. Further add boiled potatoes and sabudana. Also add salt, sugar & roasted ground nuts powder and mix everything well. Cover it let it cook for 3 to 4 mins.
  • STEP 3.Lastly add lemon juice and mix it. Serve the delicious sabudana khichdi topped with pomegranate seeds and farali chivda. Enjoy☺️
