Ingredients for Sabudana Appe Recipe

  • 1/2 cup sabudana / sago
  • 1 No.s potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1/4 cup peanuts, roasted and crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin / jeera
  • 1/2 No.s chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coriander, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil

Directions: Sabudana Appe Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak sago pearls for 3 hours and strain for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.In a mixing bowl add the sago beans.
  • STEP 3.Add 2 potatoes and ½ cup of peanuts.
  • STEP 4.Add ½ tsp of ginger paste, 1 tsp of cumin, 1 chopped green chili, 2 tbsp of coriander and ½ tsp of salt.
  • STEP 5.Mash everything well by pressing with your fist.
  • STEP 6.Take the appe pan and on medium flame add a few drops of oil.
  • STEP 7.Once the oil is hot add the sago mix with a tablespoon and roast both sides by turning simultaneously.
  • STEP 8.When the appe is golden brown in appearance take them out of the pan.
  • STEP 9.Serve sabudana appe hot on a plate and enjoy.
