  • 0.17 kg Carrot
  • 1/25 cup Ghee
  • 1.67 Pieces Cashew
  • 1.67 Pieces Almonds
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 0.17 cup β€’1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 0.17 tsp 3/4 tsp Sugar
  • 0.17 cup Β½ cup mawa

Directions: Royal Gajar Ka Halwa ❀️ Carrot Halwa πŸ˜‹ Recipe

  • STEP 1.firstly, peel the skin of carrot and grate finely. keep aside. traditionally, delhi carrot is used to prepare halwa.
  • STEP 2.in a large kadai heat ΒΌ cup ghee and fry 10 cashew, 10 almonds.
  • STEP 3.fry until it turns golden brown. keep aside.
  • STEP 4.in the same ghee add grated carrot and saute well.
  • STEP 5.saute for 5 minutes or until it changes colour slightly.
  • STEP 6.now pour 3 cup milk and give a good stir.
  • STEP 7.boil for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • STEP 8.continue to boil until the carrots are cooked well and milk reduces.
  • STEP 9.once the milk thickens completely, add ΒΎ cup sugar.
  • STEP 10.mix well and cook until the sugar dissolves and thickens.
  • STEP 11.cook until the halwa thickens and ghee releases from sides.
  • STEP 12.now turn off the flame and Β½ cup khoya, ΒΌ tsp cardamom powder and fried nuts.
  • STEP 13.mix well making sure everything is well combined.
  • STEP 14.finally, enjoy gajar ka halwa or carrot halwa chilled or warm.
