This is very interesting malaysian dish. I was very inquisitive to find how roti jala is made and how it tastes with curry. I saw a few videos online to see how it was made and the results were awesome.

3 Cardamom Pods

1 Star anise
500 gram chicken on the bone about
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
3/4 cup coconut milk
As required Salt
3/4 cup Water
2-3 tablespoon Oil
10-15 curry leaves, gelugur/tamarind

1 lightly beaten egg
1/4 teaspoon each of salt and turmeric powder
