  • 1/2 tablespoon Raisins
  • 1/2 tablespoon Coconut Slices

  • 1/4 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1.13 Damom Pods
  • 1/4 stick Cinnamon

Directions: Rooh Afza And Coconut Flavoured Sweet Pulav Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Drain the water and set aside.
  • STEP 2.In a large pan, heat ghee and add cashews, raisins, and coconut slices. Fry until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add the soaked rice to the pan and sauté for a few minutes. Then add Rooh Afza syrup, coconut milk, and water.
  • STEP 4.Add cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, and saffron strands. Mix well and bring to a boil.
  • STEP 5.Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the rice cook for about 15-20 minutes or until it is fully cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
  • STEP 6.Once cooked, fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with chopped nuts and coconut flakes.
  • STEP 7.Serve the Rooh Afza and coconut flavored sweet pulav warm or chilled as a dessert.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to soak the basmati rice before cooking to ensure it cooks evenly and becomes fluffy.
