Roasted tomato salsa Recipe

#mom I would say this is not my mom favorite but I love to have this salsa when my mom prepare this for me. I usually eat this with paratha I know so weird combination but you should try once. You can eat this salsa with pita bread, nachos, tortilla chips or any snacks of your choice.

Ingredients for Roasted tomato salsa Recipe

  • 1/2 Pieces tomato
  • 1/4 Pieces piece onion
  • 1/2 Pieces green chilli
  • 0.13 Pieces lemon juice
  • 1/2 Tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1/4 Tsp salt
  • 1/4 Tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 Tbsp olive oil

Directions: Roasted Tomato Salsa Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a medium baking dish, place roma (plum) tomatoes, onion and green chille Drizzle some olive oil and salt
  • STEP 2.Checking often, broil 5 to 10 minutes, or until outsides of vegetables are charred.
  • STEP 3.Remove vegetables from heat. Remove and discard tomato cores, onion skins.
  • STEP 4.In a food processor, coarsely chop the charred vegetables. Transfer to a medium bowl and mix lime juice and cilantro.
  • STEP 5.Serve with chips or any snacks
