  • 0.17 kilogram Beef braising steak i. e chuck or skirt, cut into large chunks
  • 0.38 tablespoon Plain/all purpose flour
  • 0.03 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.03 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.13 tablespoon Tomato puree
  • 93.75 milliliter 1 bottle red wine it doesnt have to be an expensive wine, i used shiraz
  • 30 milliliter Beef stock
  • 0.38 Bay leaves
  • 0.13 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 2-2.50 Chantenay carrots peeled
  • 18.75 gram Brown mushrooms thickly sliced
