Ingredients for Reuben-Pierogie Casserole Recipe

  • 1/2 tablespoon Softened butter
  • 1/4 Package frozen pierogies
  • 0.13 can Sauerkraut, drained
  • 0.06 pound Deli sliced corned beef, chopped
  • 2 Slices Swiss Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Thousand island salad dressing

Cooking Direction

  • Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with softened butter. Arrange the frozen pierogies into the prepared baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the sauerkraut over top then layer with the corned beef and Swiss cheese. Spread the salad dressing over the Swiss cheese and sprinkle evenly with the breadcrumbs. Wrap the dish with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove the aluminum foil and continue baking until hot and bubbly for 10 to 20 minutes more.

Cooking Tips

  • This Reuben casserole can be assembled up to an hour ahead of time and baked when you’re ready to eat.

Serving and Storage

  • Reheat before serving.
